Larry Gaynor - TNG Worldwide Founder and CEO
An entrepreneur, author, business coach, and philanthropist, Larry Gaynor founded TNG Worldwide in 1985. As Founder and CEO of the company, he has grown it from a small distributor of beauty products to a major manufacturing company with more than 75 factories creating more than 2,000 products. The company’s brands include Ginger Lily Farms and ForPro Professional Collection. The brands have more Amazon Choice and Best-Sellers badges than all other beauty brands on Amazon. Moreover, Larry has positioned TNG as an Amazon Top 200 Beauty Reseller.
In working to grow his business, Larry facilitated successful partnerships and working relationships with start-ups and mega-corporations, including Unilever, Ulta, and L'Oréal. Today, TNG's portfolio of products includes soaps, moisturizers, shampoos and conditioners, hair appliances and accessories, manicure and pedicure products, and a wide range of spa and wellness products. It also offers personal protective equipment (PPE), including face masks, disinfectants, hand sanitizers, and gloves.
Committed to helping others, Larry offered PPE to various funeral homes during the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Through TNG, he also supported the American Cancer Society (ACS). TNG was a founding sponsor of the ACS Making Strides Against Cancer event in Detroit, which raised $2 million for the organization. Larry and his wife, Teresa, also partnered with MSU to support the construction of the Entrepreneurial Lab inside the Edward J. Minskoff Pavilion at Eli Broad College of Business.
Beyond his day-to-day oversight of TNG Worldwide, Larry provides business coaching and mentorship to aspiring and experienced entrepreneurs. He also publishes posts on his popular CEO blog at larrygaynor.com and is the author of his forthcoming book, in which he shares advice and lessons accumulated over the course of his distinguished business career. In addition to these endeavors, he enjoys traveling, biking, chess, and reading in his free time.
